Framework
During Patristic period, Jesus as a person has raised not only feelings of devotion, but also questions about his identity, his message and his relation with the entire humanity.
During the last decade of the last 20th and the first years of the present century, there are innumerable/ countless works on Jesus de Nazaret and his historical and social environment. Only as a brief summary of the most import publications, it is worth noting the following authors: in Germany (G. Thrissen-A. Merz (2001)), in the USA (C.Evans (2001), John Crossan (2002), John Meier (2002-2003), D.A. Fiesnsy (2006)), in France (E. Nodet (1999), E. Nodet-J. Taylor (2002)) in Italy (James H. Charlesworth (ed.) (2002), P. Sacchi (2003), J.Ratzinger (2007 and 2011)) and in Argentina (F. García Bazán (2006))).
An approach to the first centuries of Christianity proves that the identity of Jesus can be dealt from a paradigm that considers the unity and diversity of perspectives. This pluriformity is verified in theological, philosophical, social and cultural levels, among others.
As has been pointed out by different specialists, it has been the formulation of questions on the human and/or divine nature of Jesus and his message what determined in general terms the division of different doctrinal trends and positions.
